The Change Game
Change happens at warp speed. Will your employees be ready?
Successful change initiatives require more than well-orchestrated rollout and communication plans. Every individual’s reaction to change can have an impact on the organization. By strengthening your employees’ agility and capacity for change, your organization’s change initiatives will have a much greater chance for success.
The goal of The Change Game is to help learners understand how they react in the face of change, and how to modify their behaviors in a more productive manner. In addition, the participants have the opportunity to develop a basic vocabulary and understanding around the seven characteristics of resilience that can serve as a basis for additional development work.
The Change Game is based on the book Managing Change with Personal Resilience by Linda Hoopes and Mark Kelly. The game offers a fun and engaging way to help individuals assess their own abilities to adapt to change. Game participants then have an opportunity to identify ways to strengthen their own personal resilience across seven resilience characteristics.
The game is relevant to anyone who is affected by change, so everyone, across all levels of the organization will benefit.
